Dr Thomas Gorgues, LOPS, France I am a research scientist from IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement) working at LOPS in Brest (France). My main research interests concern the marine biogeochemical cycles, the marine ecosystems and how they interact with the carbon cycles at different spatial and time scales (from the semi-diurnal tidal cycle to climate cycles that includes anthropogenic impacts). To adress those questions, I've been mostly using biogeochemical models, whose simulations strongly depend on the accuracy of the iron cycle representation. |
